Minimalist Apartment in Vilnius (63 sq m)
Before the architectural bureau Normundas Vilkas stood a challenging task – to create an interesting interior for a young family from Vilnius with a small budget and limited space (63 sq m). The walls in the living room and kitchen are built-in shelves made of white lacquered wood, which serve both storage and concealment of a computer desk and a door to the bedroom. The apartment turned out minimalist: only a minimal number of items are placed on open surfaces, except for the cabinet. The color palette is also restrained, featuring cream and milk tones, gray shades, and some bright accents. Such interiors are wonderful because the mood of the room can be changed at any time depending on the residents' preferences using accessories, lamps, and vases with flowers. Minimalism is an excellent solution for those who do not have a large budget but still appreciate clarity and conciseness.
