Enchanted House by Hinzstudio

Hinzstudio designed the Enchanted House located near Da Nang city in Vietnam. With just under 3000 square feet of living space, this stunning home is designed to provide a peaceful rural lifestyle with direct access to beautiful landscapes.

The Enchanted House is built in a rural area远离 the center of Da Nang city. It's a dream home for a young couple and their two dogs — a tranquil and poetic living space.

The project is located in a quiet rural setting among fields and green bamboo groves. From the hills in the distance, you can witness sunrises and sunsets every day from within the house. A drawback of the site is that it often suffers annual floods with water levels exceeding one meter. Additionally, the small plot size and high functional density present a complex challenge for the architectural team.

The solution was to leave the first floor space empty, moving main functions to upper floors. This not only helps avoid annual flooding but also opens up the view of the landscape. Functional rooms are designed compactly with minimal footprint, yet must maximize the value of the surrounding natural landscape.

With interior spaces, opening to nature is inevitable. However, the design team believes that everything must be balanced to provide sufficient emotional impact and achieve the required sophistication.
