Despite its location, the house was quite secluded from the sea, "partly for safety, partly for comfort so we wouldn't have to store terrace furniture if it started raining

FOR THE WHOLE YEAR

Moreover, the space needed to be rethought because the owners' lifestyle had changed: it's no longer a second home, but they live here all year round

VIEWS LIKE PAINTINGS

A comprehensive renovation was needed to meet all these needs. Previously, the house was clad in exposed brick, but now it has a clean white silhouette. It's almost entirely white inside and out

WIDTH OF VIEWS

The lack of views to the Mediterranean Sea was a sin. "So we opened all the holes that could be opened," continues the architect. And indeed! One of the walls in the living room is almost entirely glass, as are the staircase railings

OVER THE TABLE – TRANSPARENT STAIRCASE

The new lifestyle made the first floor, where the kitchen, living room and dining area are located, the heart of the house where all major events take place!

NEUTRAL BASE, FLOWER ACCENTS

To contrast the white kitchen, we installed gold handles, two lamps in the shape of lighthouses and a hydraulic tile carpet under the table. We love the idea of this table, which also serves as an island. It looks like marble but is actually covered with large-format porcelain tiles, the same as a dashboard

NIGHT ON WHITE

Splitting the ceiling into different heights allows for subtle aesthetic games, placing lighting where it's needed or hiding the cornice from view

OUTDOOR DINING AREA

The reform, besides opening up to the sea, also included an outdoor dining area for family gatherings. With the same design as the rest of the terraces, the white house with flower accents dominates the space

ONLY TROPICALS

In the bathroom, the relaxed character of the house was enhanced by tropical pattern wallpapers, a protruding sink and a round mirror frame: three ideas that couldn't be more relevant and achieve an atmosphere of tranquility and elegance at the same time
