Learn how to design a functional pantry where all your products are within reach and well-organized.

1. HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU NEED?

You don't need a huge kitchen to create the perfect pantry that is functional and practical. You simply need to free up at least 1 m² and install shelves with a depth of 20 cm or cabinets to store your essential products. If you have more space for a separate pantry, consider installing sliding doors to make the most of your area.

2. ORGANIZE BY CATEGORIES

Logically group your products and reserve shelves at your height for those you use most frequently and that expire soon. Use transparent containers to store items so you don't have to open them or label them to know what's inside, avoiding visual clutter.

3. DON'T OVERSTOCK

Don't buy more than you need, and limit yourself to a maximum of two packages of each type of product. To easily access products without forgetting or letting them expire, try to avoid more than two rows on each shelf. You can stack vertically if space allows and doesn't block visibility.

4. HEAVIER ITEMS AT THE BOTTOM

Reserve the lower shelves, most accessible (between 90 and 160 cm), for frequently used products. Place the heaviest items, such as water bottles, tetra packs or oils, on these shelves. You can store them in wheeled drawers to make moving easier.

5. EVERYTHING IN ITS PLACE

Use glass jars, containers, boxes or baskets to organize by categories and efficiently use shelf height. If they are the same or very similar, this helps everything look more organized. Choose container sizes based on what you plan to store (increase by 50% of their original weight). Use dividers in drawers for efficient space use.
