Life in Pink: Bright Blogger's Home in the USA
With renovation and decoration, it's hard to get too excited when renting living space, and is it even necessary? However, the folks from America managed to find a compromise with the landlord and set up their home according to their personal taste.
"We've always wanted to live in a truly bright house!" - Matt and Bo, lifestyle bloggers who write about travel, delicious food, and beautiful clothes.
The house was built in the early 1900s and largely preserved its original appearance along with fragments of old décor, such as parts of original ceilings and wooden floors. The bold pink color of the facades and window frames only added to its charm.

The house was rented out, and Matt and Bo were just looking for a place to live. The bloggers work remotely and decided that setting up a living space without detaching from their workflow was quite feasible. And the house can be improved gradually, but every day.

The bloggers envisioned their future interior to be just as vibrant as the external look of the house, but they had to agree on some renovation details with the landlord. In the end, they settled on painting two rooms in neutral tones and the dining room in pink, matching the house's facade.

The unusual and bold combination of pink and red causes a real thrill for the couple, so there's a lot of textile with vibrant patterns and prints in the interior. According to the bloggers, pink pairs well with gold, so they added appropriate accents to the dining area without hesitation: lighting fixtures, coffee tables, and frames with a shiny gold finish.

According to the bloggers, the house's interior is always different and constantly filled with new items. Since there isn't much furniture, the bloggers focus mainly on decoration: books and souvenirs from travels. They don't hide them in boxes, but instead display them with great enthusiasm.

Plants are also loved here. They're everywhere: on the floor, on special stands, in attractive planters. Some even grow right "out of walls": notice the horizontal flower arrangements in the bedroom. The way to decorate your home with total greenery is accessible to everyone - at least it doesn't require approval from the landlord.
