10 Kitchens for Capricious Individualists
According to statistics, we spend most of our time on the kitchen. No wonder designers pay special attention to this area — a kitchen should match our taste, be convenient and functional, as well as create an atmosphere of maximum comfort. In this post we have gathered ten kitchens that their owners are rightly proud of.
Sunny Kitchen-Dining Room. This kitchen has everything the clients dreamed of and even a little more.
The kitchen area is only five square meters, but it has everything the client requested: a tall refrigerator and separate freezer, two ovens and a large work surface.
A bar counter separates the cooking zone from the living room. The backsplash was made from a single sheet with a beautiful natural stone pattern — this helped avoid fragmentation and unite the space.
"Copper adds a touch of rich yellow to the calm pearl color of the kitchen," — the project author explains.
Design: Zhenya Zhudanova. Kitchen Furniture: Nolte KüchenBrutal colors and no decor at all. Freshness and modernity to the interior are provided by the use of chrome-plated metal structures.
The owner of this apartment wanted a calm and relaxing atmosphere in muted tones without any decoration. For the kitchen cabinet doors, they chose wood in gray and brown shades, and for the backsplash and countertop, they selected black marble, which the client particularly liked.
This combination of textures — the stone pattern with veins and the clean lines of wood — helped visually zone the space. In addition, a bar counter with vertical columns separates the kitchen and living room.
Design: Evgenia Ermolaeva. Kitchen Furniture: Nolte KüchenHarmony for the Designer. Design is about comfort, so the approach to trends in interior design should always be very individual. In decorating a kitchen in their own apartment, architect Pavel Zheleznov made a bet on white finishing and light base furniture. All items are chosen with taste and look very harmonious.
Thanks to the glossy cabinet doors from Nolte and the absence of handles, a kitchen cabinet was created that blends into the wall and creates an illusion of a space filled with air.
Design: Pavel Zheleznov. Kitchen Furniture: Nolte KüchenWooden antique bench — a fresh and unusual solution. Very cozy — your hand naturally reaches for a cup of coffee. On the kitchen, items and furniture of different styles and eras are present. The main thing is that the kitchen interior pleases its owner.
Vibrant Eclecticism. After talking with the clients, we understood that their mood and positive associations fit best into the Provence style.
The clients wanted a vibrant interior that reflected their lifestyle and hobbies. The couple was ready for experiments and trusted the designers.
During work on the interior, a style that was eclectic in both the kitchen and the rest of the apartment emerged: bright art objects mixed with elements of the Provence style and classic white kitchen cabinet doors.
Design: U-Style. Kitchen Furniture: Nolte KüchenKitchen from Natural Materials. The project concept was developed based on principles of conscious eco-friendliness.
The kitchen cabinet is made from natural wood, the backsplash from marble, and the countertop and bar counter from stone. According to the client's requirements, all materials are certified according to eco-standards.
Due to the sky-blue-white combination of cabinet doors, the kitchen-dining room interior became light and neutral.
"The project concept was developed based on principles of conscious eco-friendliness," says the designer. "It's not about eco-style, but much deeper — more of a lifestyle approach."
Design: Olesya Fedorenko. Kitchen Furniture: Nolte KüchenThe designer applied the golden ratio principle, which helps mathematically calculate an intuitively harmonious and proportionate interior that satisfied all family members. According to Olesya Fedorenko, blue softens the textures of stone and metal and adds warmth. Comfort and nothing extra.
Plenty of light and maximum functionality — the main wishes of the client, which were fully implemented.
The owner of this apartment is a fan of Scandinavian style, so there were no doubts in the designer's approach to kitchen decoration. Oxana made a bet on an abundance of natural wood, and when choosing kitchen furniture, she followed the principle: "convenient and functional." No dramatic forms here: white glossy cabinet doors and no hardware or decor.
The designer anticipated several lighting scenarios: there is the main light from built-in spotlights and working light provided by stylish chandeliers above the dining area.
Design: Oxana Agaponova. Kitchen Furniture: Nolte KüchenMonochrome Comfort. Special attention was paid to the design of the furniture. The shape of the carved supports of the bar counter is repeated in the elements of the dining table — this emphasizes stylistic unity.
A strict palette of walls and cabinet doors, natural stone in the finishing, original light fixtures that immediately draw attention — this minimalist kitchen-dining room will definitely not seem lifeless or boring.
To match the client's wishes, the designer preserved maximum space and lightness.
Design: Elena Semenova. Kitchen Furniture: Nolte KüchenRelaxation zone with a spacious corner sofa comfortably neighbors the bar counter — for parties with friends, you can't think of anything better. The kitchen is separated from the living room only by a sliding glass partition, and if desired, the kitchen can be isolated. "Masculine" kitchen for a mom with a daughter.
It's pleasant when the client clearly knows what they want, and these wishes coincide with the designer's preferences.
To create a comfortable space for the client, Maria Puzanova focused on functionality. It's hard to believe that this restrained and slightly brutal interior is intended for a mom with a little daughter. But the client likes such interiors: "masculine" in style and content.
"For the kitchen cabinets, we used Nolte cabinet doors in concrete combined with white gloss," Maria explains. The kitchen turned out spacious. According to the client's wishes, it was equipped with pull-out drawers, and a laundry system was hidden in one of the columns.
Design: Maria Puzanova. Kitchen Furniture: Nolte KüchenArt Deco in Complex Tones. The housewife wanted an interior in a calm color palette: I suggested stopping on the shade of taupe — soft gray-brown.
Nadezhda Kapper took the complex gray-brown shades in the finishing as a basis, warm gray gloss on kitchen cabinet doors and softened them with textured decor and bright details.
Design: Nadezhda Kapper. Kitchen Furniture: Nolte KüchenThe main accent in the kitchen area was made as an art deco panel, which decorated the load-bearing column — it is visible from the entrance door. Following it, she added shiny light fixtures, a backsplash made of glass tiles, a crystal chandelier, and paintings — the interior became full of life. Kitchen in the Porsche style.
Just say "Porsche," and everyone understands that this is elegance, speed, and flawless quality.
The designers planned an ambitious project: to create for the client, a big fan of German cars, an interior that would reflect her ideology.
"Just like the creators of Porsche, we did everything to make our client feel the aesthetics and comfort," says one of the studio founders, designer Sergey Bakharev.
In the kitchen cabinet, natural textures and urban materials blend harmoniously: gloss and solid wood cabinet doors, concrete on the kitchen backsplash, stone countertop, and steel.
