Wooden Balcony on Two Levels That Will Cause Envy
Although Scandinavian countries cannot enjoy as many sunny days and balconies as we do in the south, they are experts at decorating balconies. It may seem contradictory, but no — despite a few hot days, their balconies are, let's admit it, more stylish and cozy than ours.
PinterestFor example, by dividing the balcony into two levels, you can better create various zones and make cozy corners. The same applies to rugs in a living room-dining area with an open kitchen, which help divide space without physical barriers.
As seen in the photo, one level is an outdoor dining area, while the other is a living room completely surrounded by planters and umbrellas to shield from the heat during the day, as well as table lamps for a cozy atmosphere at night.
PinterestA wooden floor also invites you to walk barefoot — another pleasure of Scandinavian summer (the floor here is always very hot, so you have to wear slippers XD). What do you think of these wooden balconies? Do you like them? What are your thoughts on the two levels?
