White Glossy Apartment by Alexander Tishler / Russia
In the Moscow skyscraper, White Glossy Apartment by Alexander Tishler, 635 square feet of complex geometry are transformed into a shimmering and functional urban cozy space. Completed in 2022 on a high floor with panoramic views, the project highlights modern elegance, smart spatial planning, and individual finishing materials tailored to the compact size.

Sharp 70-degree angles and large fixed windows created significant constraints. Tishler's team embraced these features and developed an ergonomic layout that maximizes light, functionality, and aesthetics.
Since the windows do not open, an individual ventilation and air conditioning system was implemented to ensure a constant fresh air supply. From concept to production of custom furniture, every element was coordinated for budget and scale.

The heart of the home is an open living area, clad in quartz. A dramatic block of Patagonia quartz is illuminated so its semi-transparent veins glow at night like a sculptural piece.
The white glossy kitchen blends with the dining and relaxation zones. Bronze cabinet fronts, marble-style porcelain Atlas Concorde, and minimalist accessories enhance the modern style. The sink by the window frames city panoramas; the countertop extends into the work area and breakfast zone. A smart touch: a TV mounted to a false cabinet front, which serves as hidden storage for seasonal clothing, while the glossy fronts conceal a refrigerator with thin handles.

The previously separate kitchen and living area now merge into one, with a clear visual axis from the entrance to the main room. A cabinet with matte bronze glass neatly solves the window zone issue, adding display and storage.
Rather than the original symmetric classical request from the client, the final design emphasizes asymmetry, clean lines, and reflective surfaces, creating a dynamic yet harmonious interior.

The bedroom continues the asymmetry theme. Slanted walls and irregular layout are reflected in a false ceiling with integrated LED lighting and ventilation. mirrors above the headboard, a suspended cabinet, and bronze chandeliers enrich the composition and add a soft grandeur.

The bathroom repeats the palette of white, bronze, and marble. Cabinetry matches that of the kitchen — white enameled MDF with glossy glass — while bronze aluminum mosaics and tiles add texture.
Storage is addressed:
- Tall cabinet with dryer and washing machine
- Under-sink storage for daily items
- Hidden cabinets behind the mirror and above the toilet
- Ribbed fronts with fabric hinges, echoing corridor furniture
Instead of glass partitions, a waterproof factory curtain was used to softly define the space while maintaining practicality.
