In France, the most popular day for setting up a Christmas tree and decorating it remains the Sunday of Lent, the fourth Sunday before Christmas (i.e., November 27 this year). In Orthodox tradition, which is always preserved, especially in Scandinavian countries, the Christmas tree is put up right at the celebration of Saint Nicholas on December 6, 2022.
