Residential House Taslimi by Fleetwood Fernandez Architects

The Residential House Taslimi is a stunning modern home designed by Fleetwood Fernandez Architects. Located in Santa Monica, California, among beautiful landscapes, the project was conceived as a linear sequence that unfolds into a series of open spaces fully oriented towards the landscape. The total area is 5,600 square feet of luxurious living space.

The design of this single-story 5,600 sq ft home in Santa Monica was based on a deep understanding of the site and landscape, as well as a commitment to sustainable architecture.

After more than 30 years of living in the area, clients decided to build a new home that would fully integrate with the landscape and achieve the highest certification from the American Green Building Council.

Designed as a linear sequence, the house unfolds into a series of spaces fully open to the landscape. Large glass walls slide, allowing rooms to blend the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces.

The architecture and interior of the residential house were developed by Fleetwood Fernandez Architects. In addition to sustainable finishing materials typical for such a project, the interior includes carefully selected furniture elements with many vintage items that support the spirit of reuse.
