Sun Protection for Your Outdoor Spaces
Spring is the season when outdoor spaces come alive. It's not just about nature reviving, but also your outdoor areas coming back to life. As the weather becomes more comfortable with each spring day, your outdoor spaces become even more inviting. Spring starts slowly, but you can use this time to make some improvements on your terrace and patio, making these spaces even more appealing when beautiful spring weather arrives.
Although the weather slowly becomes less wintry and more spring-like, it's not far away when it will be too hot to sit outside in direct sunlight. However, you shouldn't let that stop you from enjoying the outdoor spaces your home offers. There are many practical solutions to provide sun protection while on your patio, in the garden, or on the terrace. We'll show you a few of the most popular options.

1. Covered Outdoor Space
Nothing compares to a classic covered outdoor space. There are many options for this solution, and you probably already have some kind of coverage on your property. A terrace usually has a roof and sometimes several panels on each side for wind protection. But you can go further and install transparent screens, effectively turning your outdoor space into a kind of indoor room. It's a long-term solution but also quite expensive.

2. Folding Privacy Screens
Folding privacy screens are closely associated with covered outdoor spaces. Perhaps the best combination is having a roof over your patio and several folding privacy screens on each side, allowing full control of the level of lighting in any direction. This is not only an excellent solution for protection from sunlight when it gets too hot, but also from curious eyes of neighbors when you want to relax after a busy day.

3. Large Umbrellas and Tents
The most affordable way to protect your patio from direct sunlight is by installing an umbrella or outdoor tent. You can find them in almost any home goods store and they are usually not too expensive. However, this is far from an elegant solution and often requires multiple adjustments. It's also not the best choice if you are trying to cover a large area.
