Rio Claro House by Celso Laetano Arquitetura

Celso Laetano Arquitetura designed the Rio Claro House in the city of Rio Claro on the outskirts of São Paulo state, Brazil. This stunning modern house offers just under 7000 square feet of luxurious living space, surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds with an emphasis on privacy and open recreational areas.

A house with a practical and functional atmosphere for hosting family and friends was the desire of the owners of this home located in Rio Claro on the outskirts of São Paulo.

Integration, another important aspect of the project, is realized through open spaces and window transparency. The social area and kitchen are connected via a large balcony.

In the intimate zone of the house, on the upper floor with a view of the property, are four bedrooms placed side by side. They are accessible via built-in stairs that form a volume with outstanding plasticity.

The bedroom includes a garden facing the bathroom. It can also be seen from the bedroom through a low window.

The pool, made of Hiawassee granite, integrates with the garden and green wall in the backyard of the house.

The use of cumaru wood is an important feature of the project. It covers the stairs, balcony columns, rear facade wall and intimate gallery.

Aesthetically, the interiors showcase timeless elegance using modern furniture. To add value to them, a texture of fired cement was applied on the walls and ceiling, creating a neutral structure.

Wooden furniture items created by Brazilian designers are standout elements of the interior project.
