KUNDESIGN Pavilion
In architectural terms, a pavilion is a small building without walls. It is usually partially enclosed and often found by the roadside or in a garden. Its history dates back 5,000 years. Beyond providing shelter, rest, and other practical functions, the pavilion itself is also a landscape element and was even used as a concert stage in ancient times. The Chinese are born with a love for pavilions. Pavilions are indispensable elements of traditional landscape design. As places for human presence, pavilions also play an important role in functionality and psychology.
The KUNDESIGN Pavilion is designed to naturally extend indoor life outdoors with an architectural style. It serves as a 'continuation of the home,' emphasizing impermanence and encouraging normalization of outdoor relaxation. The entire pavilion is based on a standard modular structure. By selecting electric curtains, roll-up blinds, folding glass doors, grilles, and other elements, a unique outdoor space of various forms can be created.
The roof of the pavilion is equipped with rotating blinds and integrated LED lighting, providing shade and considering the sensation of light and shadow. Users can also partially combine curved sail curtains to create a light canopy. The facade features a wooden style of vertical and horizontal grilles, creating a feeling of relaxation in a tropical forest.
Front folding glass doors change the opening method of traditional pavilions and can fully retract to one side, making the entrance more transparent. Adjustable electric roller blinds on both sides ensure privacy for commercial use. Solar PVC fabrics with the best light transmission coefficient are chosen to achieve a translucent effect and provide anti-mosquito properties. The pavilion is available in ceramic, olive green, black, and white colors, offering a more youthful, smart, thought-out, and diverse outdoor lifestyle.
