Ethanhang House by Cadas Arquitetura

The Ethanhang House is an impressive modern home located on a hill in Ethanhang, Brazil. Its flawless location offers breathtaking views of the jungle, and Cadas Arquitetura did everything possible to maximize this potential by creating an open design. Of course, it's not the first time we've encountered this studio on our site. We have already showcased their work on the Itaipava House project, so be sure to check it out as well.

With this stunning view and all these shades of green, it seems like you're not in Rio de Janeiro! It's about coming home and not wanting to leave. The house, even with its huge size, did not have a comfortable relaxation area suitable for the lifestyle of a couple. Therefore, we designed this extension. During our first meeting, the clients told us that they often have friends over, but when a big party happens, they need to set up the pool and install a canopy.

We decided to fill the pool and create an open living room, moving the pool lower by utilizing the steep slope. This allowed us to create a stunning endless pool. In the end, they kept the pool and got a huge social area including a kitchen with BBQ and pizza, a spa room, and changing rooms inside the metal structure, glass, and covered gardens.

All of this is formed around the pool. Thanks to the terrain, it creates an impression that water flows under the building and everything seems to be floating.
