Modern apartment in Kyiv by Baraban+20 photos

Project G9 is a design studio by Baraban+ led by architect Nikolai Gulyk. The private residence of 265 square meters is located in the heart of Kyiv, Ukraine. Panoramic views from the windows offer a stunning view of the city and Dnieper River. Comfortable and functional space is controlled by a "smart home" system via iPhone. The centerpiece of the residence interior is a three-meter art object made of metal that serves as both wine cellar and bio-wood stove. In fact, this bold art installation conceals a concrete column in the center of the room, which was desired to be removed for easier spatial perception. Modern furniture and brightly colored decor items complete the residence look. The project took 9 months to implement.
